What?
Digital River is a shoot-em-up set within computers. It is intentionally retro. It only uses two colors - black and white. Old-school weapon upgrades, random enemy spawns, and huge bosses. It’s like Asteroids in the future. Except it still looks like the past.
Who?
Venomblood & Oblogathon are currently the only “developers.” Venomblood does all the real work and I (Oblog) sit around and smoke weed while telling him how fast I think the 0s and 1s should float around on the screen.
Why?
Because retro shmups are awesome and the whole setting is pretty unique, in a retro way.
